Ruda Herselman: Advocacy Volunteer
Ruda is from Johannesburg, South Africa, and has just finished her undergraduate in Law. A friend referred her to Scalabrini. She was looking for a job and they asked her to think about Human Rights Law and Advocacy. She volunteers in the Advocacy department.
Leensa Ghenetti: Communications and Women’s Platform Volunteer
Leensa is from the Netherlands and Ethiopia but spent the majority of her life living in New York. Coming from a mixed background, she have always been interested in issues relating to integration and multiculturalism. She is currently pursuing a degree in political science at Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
Kethlyn Gayatiri: Employment Access Volunteer
Kethlyn was an all-rounder intern, but she wound up sticking with the Employment Access Programme, where she worked at the Employment Help Desk, or conducted Job Readiness and Digital Literacy workshops for our clients.
Lucy Arnold: Communications Volunteer
Lucy is currently an undergraduate at Stanford University in California, where she is studying interdisciplinary environmental science and human rights. At Scalabrini she has been a communications volunteer, tasked with developing social media content, writing articles, helping cover events, and more.
Simone Adler: Advocacy Volunteer
Simone’s heritage and travel experiences alongside her UCT BA LLB (bachelor of law) degree, have drawn her towards international migration issues and subsequently Scalabrini, where she volunteers in the Advocacy programme.
